Coronet Peak Redevelopment, Queenstown The
new Coronet Peak Base building is an achievement on a huge scale for
all those involved. We had just 4 months to complete this 8000 hour
project. During this time the project and the environment threw up
many different and exciting challenges. The building has 3
levels, with the administration, restaurants and a huge deck on the
thrid level. The second level has ticketing, rentals, tuning, the
Snow Shop, day-lockers, as well as a staff area. Level 1 has has storage, rubbish collection, offices and boiler
room. We found it extremely satisfying to complete this
project on time and to be a part of delivering a building that will
take the ski industry in Queenstown into the
future.
