Recent Projects
Highlands Motorsport Park
The pinnacle of New Zealand motorsport facilities has emerged out of a bare paddock at a breath-taking rate of knots known as the Highlands Motorsport Park. The 20 million dollar facility houses 4.8 kilometres of
international race track surrounded by a motorsport museum and restaurant, storage garages, go karts racing track and building and mini golf. Aotea Electric Cromwell has completed the electrical, data, security and fire systems
for this entire site completed within one year. This includes the latest in my laps lap timing system run over a fibre optics network. The electrical on the exterior was to be functional and not compromise the
architectural beauty of the builds and Aotea has delivered in both areas and been a major contributor to what is an amazing facility.

Cromwell Swim Centre
The redevelopment of the Cromwell swim centre was a project that Aotea Electric Cromwell is proud to have been given the opportunity to be involved in. The electrical work required the installation of
a replacement main switchboard, installation of fire detection system and retrofits to the existing building, replacement of the main lighting, retrofit emergency lighting in existing pool hall, upgrade of the existing data
& communications. In parallel with the electrical, fire and communications installation for the new pool hall area, Aotea Electric also carried out electrical and control installation works for the new building management system
that controls the pool heating and filtration plant that replaced the existing coal boiler with a new heat pump and gas boiler heating sources, as well as the building ventilation system.
Total Value of the works as built was $ 210,000.

Vinpro Winery
Starting business in one of the old Ministry of Works buildings on the Dunstan estate, Vinpro has seen expansion works with the addition of a winery, dry goods warehouse, bond store (and extension) 2 barrel
halls and refurbishment of the original building to house two bottling lines and an administration/office area. Aotea Cromwell has been involved in all aspects of the works to date from basic power and lighting through to the wine
tank controls and bottling line automation.

The Museum and Art Gallery were relocated to Pioneer Park built adjoining the existing sports pavilion. Works included upgrade of the mains supply, general power and lighting, HVAC system, security and fire
