As Contracts manager of the Bay of Plenty branch, Kerry is responsible for the general overseeing of the Contracting department. With over 20 years electrical experience in large commercial projects, petrochemical and hazardous area installation Kerry has ability to successfully complete any project to the highest standard. Kerry’s role is to manage multiple electrical foremen and sites, to ensure deadlines and budgets are met and he prides himself on delivering a quality product to the client.
Kevin Boys joined Aotea BOP as our Senior Estimator in January 2013 bringing with him 35 years’ experience in the Electrical industry. This specialized position focuses on collecting data and making appropriate analyses to project the time, financing and labour required for completion of the electrical portion of a given project. Kevin’s role sees him liaising closely with our Commercial clients, architects, contractors and building officials to deliver a competitive and accurate budget for Aotea BOP’s scheduled work or tenders in the marketplace.
As Residential Manager at Aotea BOP, Regan is responsible for the general overseeing of the Residential housing sector of the business. His role at Aotea includes administration, liaising and building relationships with building contractors and clients and managing an experienced and professional team who are committed to excellence and exceeding customer expectation on a daily basis. Regan moved to the stunning Bay of Plenty from Auckland in 2014 with his wife and 2 boys where he owned and operated his own Electrical business for the last 20 years.
As Office Coordinator Michelle is responsible for administering the day to day office processes for both the Electrical and Security Division. Front line at Aotea Bay of Plenty, Michelle’s job involves dealing with clients, suppliers and staff to ensure a positive experience/outcome for both the business and the client. From clerical support for our Management team to phones, accounts, and overseeing the day to day operation of the Service team Michelle has over 30 years customer service experience (including 12 years in the Electrical/Security industry) to call upon. “I love the variety Aotea offers, and have a desire to further develop our Service division. I enjoy establishing processes and striving for excellence in all areas of customer service to support this."
Hamish Morris has been with Aotea since joining the team in 2014 and has been in the electrical industry for 12 years in Tauranga with experience in all aspects of the electrical trade. Hamish has the responsibility of the planning, execution and closing of Key projects, by creating clear and attainable project objectives, building the project requirements, and working with his team on site to insure we meet client deadlines and ensure quality is of the highest standard.
As the Contracts Supervisor at Aotea BOP, Eben is responsible for coordination of labour, materials, quality assurance and safety aspects for a team of 23 – Aotea BOP’s Contracting Division. With 14 years’ experience in the Electrical Industry, (most of which has been for Aotea), Eben enjoys the diversity of his role, being out on site and working alongside a group that are committed to efficiency, excellence and teamwork.
As a qualified fire technician with an excess of 20 years’ experience in Fire, Security and general building compliance, Mark has gained IQP registration in Bay of Plenty / Waikato and New Plymouth regions. This has allowed Aotea Security to offer a one-stop-shop for our clients’ ongoing compliance needs and almost any other electrical or electronic servicing requirements, including IQP in Fire Sprinklers, Fire Alarms, Access Controlled Doors, Interfaced Fire Doors, Automatic Sliding Doors, Emergency Lighting, Fire Separations, Final Exits and Signage.
