This gives our clients the ability to access all our 29 regional businesses nationally via a single entity that can manage a single rate, single contract and single H&S policy. This ensures that your planned, reactive and project-based work runs smoothly via our NZ based 24/7 call centre and our client management team.

The Aotea National Services team have significantly assisted many organisations by being able to provide a single solution. This has streamlined the operation for many of our client's businesses by taking away the inconsistencies and risk that they were experiencing with having to manage multiple suppliers and additional layers of sub-contracting across multiple sites nationally.

Key Projects

UCOL Block 2 LED Upgrade

As UCOL’s electrical service provider, Aotea brought our partners in Philips and NuGreen to the table to discuss what innovative LED and control systems we could offer in Block 2 that houses the photography school. The nominated Philips products (Interact Pro) offered immediate power savings and lowered maintenance costs along with additional operational performance through the wireless control managed by the daylight and occupancy sensors. The result for the client was minimal disruption to the class spaces, increased user interface for the staff and students in a facility that needs closely controlled lighting, 81% power saving from the legacy system and a 5 year labour and parts warranty removing the need to budget for any maintenance for that period and beyond.

Westpac EV Charging and LED upgrade

E.V - Westpac partnered with the Aotea Group on this project covering the design and installation of the charging stations into their corporate sites across Auckland, Hamilton, Tauranga, Wellington and Christchurch in what was the largest corporate roll out in New Zealand at the time. Installing 35 charging stations initially in 2018 and with another 16 being installed during 2019 taking the total by the end of 2019 to 51 charging points. Further rollouts will occur during 2020 and 2021.

Briscoes and Rebel Sport The Base Te Rapa LED upgrade

The Briscoes Group engages Aotea to undertake the maintenance into their 85 sites nationally for the past 4 years. Aotea worked with the Briscoes property team to assist in reducing their power consumption and reduce the annual spend on the cost of maintaining aging lighting through their stores.

Aotea and their sustainability partner Nu Green Solutions NZ looked at what was going to be achievable and acceptable in lighting performance with the changing dynamics in retail lighting to reduce overall power consumption. The results across both stores being that the overall lighting levels have improved by 33% saving approximately $50K per year and reducing annual maintenance costs with a 5 year parts and labour warranty.
